Guayaki's historic harvest has arrived.
It has been nearly 7 years since they first began dialoguing with the Ache, a dialogue that transformed into a vision. Guayaki had developed the management plan for the yerba mate project and has been working steadfastly. the first step was to get the nursery going to establish the mate seedlings. Next, the mate plants were transplanted into the forest where they have been growing for the past 5 years which brings us to today. It is the very first harvest. There are 16 hectares planted and the Ache have been tending to them religiously.
