1) Are the HEMP travel bags made entirely of Hemp?
No. Although the travel bag exterior is dominantly constructed of Hemp, other materials are incorporated to keep the durability of the bag at the highest standard.

4) Are all Wave Tribe travel bags waterproof?
Not 100%. Just like most fabric board bags, ours are not 100% Water proof. The Hemp Pioneer Travel bag is waterproof on the tarp side; however, in the event your Hemp board bag becomes soaked in H20, Hemp is naturally resistant to Mold and your bag will be dry and happy in no time.
The sprays they use for this are horrendous on the environment; we have tested it in rain and the hemp doesn't soak through to the board and dries naturally in the sun.
5) How does a HEMP bag protect my board?
Boardbags offer protection to our precious sticks from dings, heat, and uv rays which can all cause damage. We recently did a study where we placed our boardbags head-to-head with a non-Hemp variety and we found that the Wave Tribe Boardbags not only helped to protect from uv light but they also helped to decrease the temperature inside the bag by as much as 20 degrees.
6) What is the part of the bag that is silver made from? I can see what is hemp from looking at the bag, but the silver part I am unsure about.
The silver part of the is made with recycled pe; in order to keep the temperatures of the bag lower while in sunlight we had one side made with recycled pe, the day bags have all hemp but the travel bags require extra protection.
7) If my bag gets dirty, how can you clean it?
Of course, cleaning the bag, will depending highly on what get on it, but we went ahead and asked an expert this question, and their reply is as follows:
If cleaning by hand, add about 1 cup of Simple Green into about 2 gallons of water, let the bag soak for up to 1 hr and then rinse well.
If you need to spot clean you can use a 1:30 dilution ratio. Apply to a wet surface, scrub with a soft brush and rinse well or run through the wash. Never allow Simple Green to dry onto a surface. -Simple Green
8) Are the Wave Tribe Recycled Leashes 100% Recycled?
